How will a Conductix-Wampfler motor driven reel support automation?

Our motor driven reels include our patented Transmitter Fiber Optics (TFO) for very high speed data transmission. TFO is an ultimately reliable uninterrupted fiber rotary joint: its mechanism does not twist the internal optical cable and has only 2 moving parts. It supports up to 24 single mode fibers, but you can also select simpler versions starting with 6 multi mode fibers. The fibers are continuous from the entry connectors to the output connectors, which guarantees complete data security, no crosstalk and low attenuation. And it is a very compact solution that easily fits in space-constrained applications.

Our TFO is very compact enabling an easy integration in the application. And it is extremely reliable as it is based on a ribbon wound on itself which does not suffer the cable twisting and breakages that plague other continuous fibers systems.
