Customized Slip Rings

CER/CEQ Series Slip Rings are produced in various sizes in order to fully meet the needs of each user and application.

They are designed to be freely composed, allowing for many possible compositions, combining rings for high and low power, digital and analog signals, data communication up to Real Time Ethernet at 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps in a single product.

The special attention in the design phase and the customized solutions for CER/CEQ Slip Rings, allow the applicability of these in areas in which high technical performances, reliability and capability to face hard working cycles are needed.

CER/CEQ are suitable to be coupled with Fluidic Rotary Joints and Fiber Optic Rotary Joints.

Among the many variations, which model should I select?

CER/CEQ are available in many different models to meet the customers' needs, we suggest selecting, together with our experts, the smallest applicable size for your need, that would also mean the best optimization in cost.

Which is the difference between CER and CEQ?

CER has a rectangular shape external body, while CEQ is squared. In both the solution the angles are cut at 45° to save space in the diagonal length.

Why should I select CER instead of CEQ or vice-versa?

If You don't have strict dimensional constrints in radial dimensions, it is suggested to use CER when available. CER have bigger side dimensions on the long side of the rectangle and this is making the brush holder wiring much easier and more comfortable than on CEQ.

What is the number defining the series, like 50, 70, 90... standing for?

The numbers after the CER or CEQ is defining the size of the ring, so an approximate diameter of the conductive rings.

CER/CEQ90 and CER/CEQ91 or 130/131 or 190/191 only differs from 1 mm on rings diameter?

No, in those situation the ring diameter is the same, but we have different external dimensions and a different size of the free inner hole (if we are speaking about the (P - free inner hole) version). Generally the bigger the number, the bigger is the enclosure, and so it's easier for the wiring to have more space available for cable routing on brushes side.
